Protection against Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) in healthy chicken and turkey during sensitive periods.
AGE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Primary dose: 10-14 days of age.
Booster dose: 14 days after primary dose.
The vaccination schedule can be adjusted according to local epidemiological characteristic.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Intraocular/Intranasal/ Drink or Spray follow the instructions below:
1. Intraocular/Intranasal:
Dissolve the vaccine with sterile saline solution 0.9% as the following proportions:
10-12 doses/ml of diluent: 2 drops/bird.
20-25 doses/ml of diluent: 1 drop/bird.
Drop directly the vaccine into the eyes, nose or mouth of poultry, 1 dose/bird.
2. Drinking water:
+ Do not give poultry water at least 2 hours before giving the vaccine.
+ Clean vaccine mixing tools and drinking troughs with clean water without antiseptic.
+Use clean water sources, ensure standards, no disinfectant, heavy metals to dilute vaccines.
+Calculate the amount of clean water (no disinfectant, no heavy metals) poultry can drink up within 1-2 hours. Add skim milk into water with amount of 3-5g/L of water. Dissolve the vaccine with the water mixed with skim milk and stir well.
+ Divide the vaccine into drink tools, place the drink tools evenly to ensure all poultry are given the full dose of vaccine.
+ Clean drinking troughs and give poultry clean water without antiseptic after the vaccine runs out.
The amount of water mixed with vaccine for 1,000 chickens to drink within 2 hours:
