Freeze-dried live attenuated vaccine.
Manufactured from Fowl Pox virus cultivated in SPF chick embryo fibrolast cells.
AGE OF ADMINISTRATION:
- Chicken: 10-12 days of age
- Bird:  25-28 days of age
Five-Fowl Pox can be used directly for the non-vaccinated herds when Fowl Pox disease occurs.
(The vaccination schedule can be adjusted according to local epidemiological characteristic).
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSSAGE
- Dissolve the vaccine diluent or sterile saline solution 0.9% with the vaccine as the following proportion: 1ml/100 doses.
- For 500 doses or more, open the seal of the vaccine vial and the diluent vial, use the plastic tube to connect 2 vials. Turn these 2 vials upside down consecutively until the vaccine is completely dissolved.
- Shake well before use, avoid foaming. Use a 2 prong applicator to inject into the wing web.
- After vaccination 5-7 days, if at the injected site appears slightly raised or swollen, the vaccination is qualified, if not, re-vaccination into the opposite wing.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use the vaccine for unwell poultry when weather changes (too hot, too cold) or not enough old.
SHELF-LIFE:
18 months from the production date.
(Shelf-life is only valid when the vaccine is stored under the required conditions).
STORAGE:
2-80C. Avoid direct sunlight and factors those may inactivate virus.
PACKING: 100/200/500/1000 doses
NOTE:
- The needles must be sterilized by boiling water (best within 2 hours of vaccination).
- Do not use vaccines that are out of date, vaccine bottles that are cracked, broken, opened or exposed to sunlight, the vaccines are not preserved in required temperature.
- Only vaccinate for healthy poultry, avoid adverse weather conditions.
- To ensure high effectiveness of vaccines, vaccination program should be made depending upon passive antibody content.
- Used vaccine vials should be properly collected and destroyed to avoid spreading viruses to the environment.
